best-one-piece-theories

Dijon here! Let’s check out the 7 best One Piece theories that I have chosen for you! We already know the introduction to this beautiful series, and there’s no shortage of material to speculate and theorize about. So, let’s just hop into it!

The Final Poneglyph is the One Piece

poneglyph

The One Piece is everything we need to know about the Void Century, Will of D, etc. Or is it? Apparently, the real treasure is knowledge (and maybe the friends made along the way) instead of gold and jewels. The World Government has gone to great lengths to destroy all Poneglyphs in the world. This supports the theory that they contain information that could threaten their stability.

While plausible, it’s worth wondering what kind of secrets this artifact holds. Could it reveal the true origins of Devil Fruits or shed light on the Void Century, a mysterious 100-year period in the world’s history that has been erased from all records? Perhaps we’ll have to wait another 30 years to find out in the true final arc. Keep it up, Oda. We love you.

Luffy’s Mother is A Celestial Dragon

Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, is the leader of the revolutionary army, seeking to overthrow the World Government and end the oppression of the common people. The Celestial Dragons, on the other hand, are one of the most powerful and oppressive groups in the world, known for their cruelty and disregard for human life. This theory raises questions about Luffy’s backstory and potential future conflicts. Will Luffy have to confront his own mother, who represents everything he stands against? Or will he find a way to bridge the divide between the revolutionaries and the Celestial Dragons?

The Thousand Sunny is Pluton

thousand-sunny-is-pluton

This theory takes renewable energy sources to the next level by suggesting that Pluton, an ancient weapon, powers the Thousand Sunny. However, Pluton has the power to destroy entire islands, and if it were to fall into the wrong hands, the consequences could be catastrophic. Tom, Franky’s mentor entrusted the blueprints for Pluton to Franky. Could the Thousand Sunny be the key to unlocking the true power of Pluton, or is it too dangerous to mess with such a powerful weapon? Perhaps Franky has been secretly installing Pluton into the Thousand Sunny with each new upgrade.

Blackbeard Has Three Devil Fruits

This theory suggests that Blackbeard has three Devil Fruit powers instead of the usual two, based on the fact that Blackbeard’s ship, the Saber of Xebec, has three prominent skulls on its flag. One skull for each Devil Fruit. If true, it would make Blackbeard an even more formidable opponent than he already is, having the powers of the Gura Gura no Mi, the Yami Yami no Mi, and another Devil Fruit all at once!

The Gorosei’s True Identity

gorosei

The Gorosei are the highest-ranking members of the World Government and hide deep within countless mysteries. According to this theory, they protected the knowledge contained in the Poneglyphs and the ancient weapons. From this, they gained immortality. However, it raises questions about their true identity and motivations for working with the World Government. Are the Gorosei part of some immortal descendants of the lost civilization that created the Poneglyphs and the ancient weapons? Perhaps the Ope Ope no Mi used to make them immortal? Only time will tell.

One Piece Is Set In A Post-Apocalyptic World

This theory has been surfacing recently due to the events at Egghead Island, suggesting that the One Piece world is actually a post-apocalyptic world. How the world got sent back is unexplained. A lot of people point to the Void Century because we still have no clue what happened during that period.
Also, on Egghead Island, the crew learns about an advanced robot that they thought was made by Vegapunk. Apparently, it’s an ancient piece of technology that even Vegapunk has difficulty grasping its ingenuity. This would explain the advanced technology and bizarre weather on the Grand Line, and it also raises some questions about the history of the world and how it got to this point.

Until Next Time

Overall, these One Piece theories are fascinating and demonstrate the depth and complexity of the series. While some theories may be more plausible than others, they all add to the richness of the One Piece universe and inspire fans to continue speculating and theorizing. Who knows which theories will end up being true, but for now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Oda has in store for us.
